Ever since I was young I called myself an artist. But one summer in high school, I took a beginner's Fashion Illustration class at the Savannah College of Art & Design where I fell in love with illustrating gowns, people, and movement in unapologetic confidence.
My new love for fashion illustration prompted me to study fashion design and production. I graduated with a B.S. in Apparel Design and Production Management from Auburn University, where I learned about design development, computer aided design, factory production, stock planning, marketing, merchandising, and the business of fashion. After college, I worked in bridal design and production at Anne Barge in Atlanta, GA for 5+ years. Supporting our luxury bridal stores, designing, and working with our production facilities was a dream come true. Every day I knew the hard work was contributing to a bride's special day. During this current chapter, I am diving into the art space and focusing on fashion illustration. This business allows me to connect with hundreds of wonderful people, hear their stories, make unlikely connections, and, if all goes well, make everyone along the way feel seen and known through their custom pieces. |
